Inverness is experiencing some early snow at the moment - just look at this beautiful view from our house!

It may be cold but the sun is shining and the skies are blue and on days like this there is no better place to be than Inverness!  With the beautiful snow topped hills and mountains it looks like something from a story book.  With the Cairngorm ski resort less than an hour away Inverness is the perfect place to visit in the winter if you like skiing or snowboarding.  For those less adventurous the Inverness Winter Festival has so much to offer with light shows throughout the town and in The Islands, the Christmas Craft and Food fairs which are perfect for finding some interesting Christmas presents, and a great many bands and artists appearing at Eden Court and other local venues.  Not forgetting this year's pantomime Beauty and The Beast which runs until the 9th of January.  So come and visit Inverness in the winter and enjoy the natural beauty and get ready for Christmas!
