Craigside Lodge is situated at the end (or beginning) of The Great Glen Way and this week we had some very glamorous walkers staying with us the night before they set off.

The Great Glen Way is a route which spans the geological faultline, 73 miles, between Fort William and Inverness. This route encompasses some of Scotland's best known landmarks- Ben Nevis, Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle. We get alot of Great Glen Way walkers staying with us due to our close proximity to the beginning/end of the route. Usually people begin in Fort William, ending in Inverness, arriving at our house a bit bedraggled(!) but Tiffany and her friends started the route from Inverness so looked a bit fresher than our usual walkers!
