Hi and welcome to our blog - thank you for visiting our website!  As this is our first blog entry I am going to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves and welcome you to Craigside Lodge Guesthouse and to Inverness!  My name is Amy and together with Ewan, we run Craigside Lodge.  Below you can see us photographed on the banks of Loch Ness yesterday afternoon!

We took over Craigside Lodge at the beginning of June last year jumping straight into the busy summer season!  We are both from Inverness and have always wanted to own our own bed and breakfast here.  We had looked at various other properties before finding Craigside Lodge but as soon as we stepped foot into this house we knew this was the place for us.  Being so centrally located, the beautiful views over the Castle and beyond, and the recently renovated bedrooms, Craigside Lodge provides the perfect family home for ourselves and the perfect location for our guests.  Ewan continues to work in his family run Insurance and Financial Services business whilst I carry out the day-to-day runnings of the business here.  A system that seems to be working well so far! 

Inverness is a beatiful city with fantastic scenery, culture and history in every direction.  We hope that you enjoy your visit to Inverness and to Craigside Lodge and look forward to welcoming you here soon!
